TN caught up with Campbell to get his reaction to the visit, along with an update on his recruitment:

Who all went with you and how was the visit?

“It was a good visit. I had my trainer, coach, and my dad come with me. Both my coach (Chad Mavety) and trainer (Aaron Jones) [played football at] FSU.

It was a good atmosphere up there—the practice had good energy. The coaches seemed excited to have us. When I had the chance to dress up (try on the uniforms) I did, and the coaches seemed very excited.”

Did you get a chance to speak with the coaches—if so, what did they have to say?

“I had a little bit of time with the coaches. They told me to keep my head to the grind and don’t let [anything] distract you—[make sure to] keep your head on the main goal.”

How would you describe your style, and what player do you model your game after?

“Fast off the ball and disruptive. Chase Young.”

You’re still looking for an FSU offer—what’d the coaches say you have to do to earn that?

“They said [to] keep working hard and improving.”

How badly do you want an FSU offer and what would it mean to receive one?

“I want one really [badly]—it’s one of my dream schools.”

What was it like putting on that FSU uniform?

“Great—a dream come true.”
