TN caught up with Moore recently to get a better look at his recruitment:
How was the FSU visit?
“It was great—I loved it!”
What’d your mom think about everything?
“She thought it was very nice—great people and great town/campus.”
Which FSU coaches did you hang out with in Tallahassee?
“I spoke to Coach Woodson and (Coach) Fuller the most, but I [also] hung out [with] Coach Dillingham and Coach Norvell.”
Did the staff discuss how they’d like to use you?
“They said they’d love to use my speed, length, and ball-skills at corner or free safety.”
What position do you like the best?
“I like corner.”
How would you describe your game?
“Very versatile—the last two years I’ve played free safety. Now, I’m switching to corner—my speed, length, and flexibility allows me to make [that] switch [easily].”
What players do you model your game after?
“I model my game after Jalen Ramsey, Derek Stingley Jr, and Derwin James.”
How hard is this staff recruiting you?
“The staff is recruiting me very hard. Coach Fuller told me when he got the job, I was the first person he came to see.”
Wow. What was your reaction when he said that?
“I was surprised and happy because it showed I was a priority for them.”
Where does FSU currently stand for you?
“I’m not going to get into details, but [they’re] high up there.”
Did you grow up a fan of any school?
“Not really, but since my dad loves FSU, we usually watched [their] games.”
What do you think about the FSU uniforms?
“The FSU uniforms are very nice.”
Do you have a favorite combination?
“My favorite is that all black—it’s cold.”
What number do you plan/want to wear in college and why?
“It’d be nice to wear No. 3 because i’ve always kind of liked and ridden with that number, but i’m fine with any number.”
Are there any 2022 kids with whom you’re close?
“I’m cool with Travis Hunter, the corner that just committed to FSU—we talk a lot.”
How cool would it be to play college together in the same defensive backfield?
“It would be very cool and very scary—offensive coordinators would have to think twice about the [number] of times they throw that week.”
Have you thought about when you’d like to have a final decision made?
“I’d like to have one made after my Junior season, but I’d have to get my parents’ consent.”
