Zachary Lovett is a 6’2 225 pound inside linebacker from Rockledge, FL.

The Class of 2021 prospect attends Rockledge High School and has an 86 rating (high 3*) from the 247 Sports Composite. They consider him the 568th best player in America (24th best inside linebacker and 80th best player in Florida).

Lovett holds offers from Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), Missouri, Purdue, and West Virginia, among others.

He visited Florida State with teammate Rocket Sanders for Junior Day in March:

TN caught up with Lovett to see how it went and find out about possibly earning an FSU scholarship:

Who went with you on the visit?

“My mom, my brother, and my teammate, Rahiem (Sanders).”

What coaches did you speak with the most?

“I talked to every coach, but mainly Coach Marve, Coach Lock (Director of HS Relations), and Coach Fuller.”

What’s Coach Marve like?

“He is really chill and keeps it 100.”

What has FSU said to you about earning an offer—what will it take?

“[They] said if I show them what I can do on film [this] spring, I got it.”

How anxious does that make you to get back out there and playing football?

“I’m super anxious, but I’m [trying to] just stay calm and do what I [have to] do to get better for the time being, so when I go back, I’m still dominant on the [field].”
