Recruiting:
FSU went into the Lone Star State and secured the commitment of blue-chip corner Hunter Washington. Washington announced his commitment via a commitment video shared on his Twitter yesterday:

HC Mike Norvell was hyped on the new addition to Tribe 2021:

As was defensive assistant Slade Buckley:
Let’s ride!!!! Just got a playmaker out of the Lonestar state!! #NoleFamily just got bigger and better!#Lockdown #KeepCLIMBing

FSU offered 2021 OT Garner Langlo, who is teammates with current FSU commit Jake Slaughter, and another OT target Caleb Johnson. Could FSU land the Trinity Catholic trio? Or should I say the Holy Trinity?
Texas wide receiver prospect JJ Henry spoke with our Josh Pick about his game and his surprise when he received his FSU offer.
FSU commit Branden Jennings is on the virtual recruiting trail for the Seminoles, trying to persuade 4-star defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins to join him at FSU:

The ’Noles are also in good shape with 2021 4-star athlete Dink Jackson as they make the Eau Gallie product’s top-10:

FSU TE coach Chris Thompsen might not be able to be out on the road, but he’s still been doing his due diligence:

Football:
Mike Norvell runs an explosive offense as Memphis has the third most 20+ yard plays last year. FSU faced two other teams on the list in Clemson and Boise State:

Tom Fornelli argues that Virginia Tech should be the favorite to take home the ACC Coastal this year, despite a disappointing end last season.
Other Sports:
The ACC went in depth with Leonard Hamilton covering race-related challenges he’s faced in his ascent through the college basketball ranks:
.@FSUCoachHam has broken the color barrier at every level of his basketball career. Though he is finally getting recognition for his success on the court with @FSUHoops, his focus remains on his players.

This is the Gospel of Leonard. pic.twitter.com/3PBnQpiVUB
Mike Norvell had nothing but high praise for his colleague:
Such an inspiration! Grateful for the opportunity to work alongside one of the greatest coaches of all-time, regardless of sport. @FSUCoachHam is a #mentor and tremendous example, on and off the court. He’s helping build values that change lives forever. #NoleFamily #OneTribe https://t.co/fySuuT7yIX
— Mike Norvell (@Coach_Norvell) May 13, 2020
I wonder if Norvell has heard him sing, though? Ladies and Gentleman, the multi-talented, Leonard Hamilton:
.@TForrest_11 asked if @FSUCoachHam would sing some bars on IG Live …

He did not disappoint pic.twitter.com/BClQ1F9umc
Good news, FSU Hoops and the rest of the ACC won’t be forced to start the season with an in-conference opponent again next year:
Sources: The ACC will not begin next season with conference games like it did last season. League does plan though, to play conference games in December.
— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) May 12, 2020
And even better news for FSU Baseball as Reese Albert announced his intent to return to FSU next year.
I’m sure everyone could use a story about overcoming adversity right now. Take a look at FSU volleyball’s Morgan Chacon’s journey back to the court/sand after breaking her leg:

The Last Dance recently covered Michael Jordan’s stint in baseball, Mike Tyson announced that “he’s back,” and now Derrick Brooks to the MLB?

Mike Tyson isn’t the only thing that’s back with the announcement Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is making a come back. The Clippers thinking a pair of ’Noles should be featured:
