Kedrick Debron is a 6’0 200 pound running back from Havana, FL.
The Class of 2022 prospect attends Gadsden County High School.
Although he has yet to be ranked, Debron has offers from Alabama, Maryland, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
Florida State offered the emerging RB in April (before all the aforementioned, save the Terps):
Honored and blessed to receive an offer from @Coach_Norvell @CoachYACJohnson and my dream school @FSUFootball . @Noles247 @CNee247 @ZBlostein247 @Rivals @rivalsmike @RobCross247 @ESPNRecruiting1 @TomLoy247 pic.twitter.com/M0s8WPIfH5

TN had a chance to catch up with Debron and his position coach/recruiting coordinator, “Coach Ris” for a reaction to the offer:
Debron said he was “surprised and excited.” He planned to soak it all in with his family, before getting back to work the next day, as he knows he needs to keep improving. Coach Ris added that Florida State has been Debron’s favorite team growing up and described it as a “dream offer.” He also mentioned the proximity as a potential advantage for the Seminoles.
The offer was obtained during a phone conversation with Coach YAC (David Johnson).
Ris described his running back as a “big, strong runner with speed and vision.” He said last season was his first playing the position, so he’s still raw.
We concluded by asking Coach Ris about the comfort-level Gadsden County has with Florida State now that Joshua Farmer is committed there: “Josh being offered and committing to FSU was huge (especially for him because he’s been through so much and worked so hard for the opportunity)—he’s the bell cow and his committing to FSU opened up the floodgates for recruiting to help his teammates here at Gadsden County. It’s making my job easy.”
