Justice Finkley calls Florida State “prestigious program”

Justice Finkley is 6’2 255 pound weak-side defensive end from Trussville, AL.

The Class of 2022 prospect attends Hewitt-Trussville High School and has a 91 rating (4*) from 247 Sports. They consider him the 165 best player in his class (11th best WDE and 7th best player in Alabama).

Finkley holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, among others.

How’d you receive the offer, and what’d it mean to you?

“I spoke with a member of the coaching staff, and it was an honor to receive an offer from such a prestigious program. I remember some of the great players that played there, and it places it all in perspective.”

Who are some of the players you think of when FSU is mentioned?

“Deion Sanders, Jameis Winston, Peter Boulware, and Reinard Wilson.”

How would you describe your game?

“Causing havoc, getting after the quarterback—understanding the scheme and playing within it.”

What player(s) do you model your game after?

Melvin Ingram and Aaron Donald.”

It’s obviously fairly early in the process, but do you have a list of top teams at this time?

“As of right now, all the schools that have offered me get strong consideration.”

What schools do you hope to visit when the Dead Period is finally over?

“FSU, of course. I also want to visit Michigan, Clemson, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Auburn.”

What are the biggest things you’re looking for in a school when making your final decision?

“Player development, strong academic program, and a family environment.”
