Offensive lineman Will Campbell talks Florida State offer, NFL role model

Will Campbell is a 6’5 270 pound offensive tackle from Monroe, LA.

The Class of 2022 prospect attends Neville High School and has a 94 rating (4*) from 247 Sports. They consider him the 47th best player in America (3rd best OT and 2nd best player in Louisiana).

Campbell already holds offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Penn State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia, and Virginia Tech, among others.

How’d you receive the offer, and what’d it mean to you?

“I talked to Coach Johnson, and it was very exciting—I’ve always thought that it was a great school.”

What are your visit plans after Dead Period—are you planning to get to FSU?

“I’m [going to] try my hardest to get down there whenever I can.”

What’s your relationship like with Coach Atkins?

“I like Coach Atkins a lot—he’s a great guy.”

How would you describe your game?

“I have great feet—[I’m] a good pass blocker and a great run blocker, and I’m very athletic.”

Any OL you model your game after?

Andrew Whitworth— he’s from where I live, and I’ve always looked up to him.”

Finally, what are the biggest things you’re looking for in a school?

“Somewhere I can fit in and enjoy my four years and also where I’m [going to] win football games and compete at a high level.”
