6/11 AM UPDATE
We spoke to Hurst after the offer, and he said he found out about the Florida State offer when he woke up around 8 AM Wednesday morning to the official offer photo from FSU offensive coordinator, Kenny Dillingham—he went on to say he hadn’t spoken to Dillingham prior to the offer, but he was definitely excited with such a big opportunity.
We mentioned the recent uptick in offers for Hurst (three other Power 5 offers in the past week), and he said nothing’s changed, his offers just spiked.
He concluded by saying he hopes to visit Florida State when the NCAA ends the Dead Period.
