TN caught up with Antwi shortly after the offer to learn more:

What was your reaction to the FSU offer?

“I was surprised—Florida State’s a big-time school.”

Who called and what was the conversation like?

“Coach Atkins—he [is] easy to talk to—we were joking around a little, but he said he liked my film, and I was a very explosive player.”

How would YOU describe your game?

“I feel like I’m a versatile and explosive player—I can make big plays, and I’m somebody you can count on to make a big play in crunch time.”

What player(s) do you look up to/model your game after?

Julio Jones—that’s the reason I wear number 11. He’s been my favorite player since he came into the league.”

When the name “Florida State” is mentioned, what comes to your mind?

“When Florida State comes to mind, I think of the National Championship they won back in 2014. I’m a Falcons fan, and Devonta Freeman was on that National Championship team, so when the Falcons drafted him I knew they were getting a great player.”

Do you plan to visit FSU when the Dead Period’s over?

“Oh yes sir, for sure—me and Travis Hunter are good friends, and he just committed there, so me and him will go over there for a visit when this is all over.”

What has Travis told you about Florida State?

“He told me it’s a family environment over there, and they’ll put you in the best position to go to the NFL.”

Has he tried to talk you into committing or anything?

“Oh, yes, he’s been texting me that FSU wants me, and he wants me to commit.

A&M has been my dream school for as long I can remember, but I love Tallahassee, and I really just want to take a visit and see how it is.”

You mentioned visiting FSU—what other schools do you hope/plan to visit once this mess is over?

“I hope to visit UGA, but I’m planning on visiting A&M, Auburn, Oregon, Minnesota, Tennessee, and maybe Arizona State.”

Finally, what are the biggest things you’re looking for when choosing a school?

“I’m looking for a family environment, great academics, nice facilities, and a school that can not only develop [me] as a player, but also as a person.”
