Damari Alston is a 5’11 205 pound running back from Atlanta, GA.

The Class of 2022 prospect attends Woodward Academy.

Alston has a 4-star rating from Rivals, but 247 Sports currently has him unranked, even though he already has offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin, among others.

We had a chance to catch up with Alston after he received the FSU offer:

Who’d you speak to when getting the offer?

“Coach Atkins and the rest of the staff. We had a FaceTime call, and I spoke to all the coaches.”

What was the conversation like?

“Everyone had great energy, and told me they were excited about me.”

And your reaction to the offer?

“I was just really excited to receive the offer. It put a smile on my face, and at the end of the day, I look at it as [a] blessing!”
