The Class of 2022 prospect attends The Hun School and has a 92 rating (4*) from 247 Sports. They consider him the 106th best player in America (10th best OT and 3rd best player in New Jersey).

Allen already holds offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, LSU, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Virginia, and West Virginia, among others.

In early May, he was offered by Florida State:

TN caught up with Allen shortly after the offer to get a better look at his recruitment:

What was your reaction to the FSU offer?

“I feel pleasured to have been recognized by such a great coach as Coach Atkins.”

What was the conversation like?

“The conversation mainly consisted of how we’ve adapted to the current situation being quarantined. It was more casual talk than business talk—it’s nice to see a coach making an effort to build a relationship.”

Do you plan to visit FSU when the Dead Period is over?

“Yeah—I’m looking forward to going down to Tallahassee.”

What do you know about Florida State?

“I don’t know much about FSU or really any school. I’m pretty naive to the whole scene, but I’m interested to learn about it as time goes on.”

We’d love to get your reaction to Myron Rolle’s tweet after your offer:

“It was truly heartwarming to see a Hun grad reach out like that, especially from such an amazing football player, doctor, and person.”

What have you been up to since C-19 shut everything down?

“I’ve just been going to my Zoom classes and lifting in my garage grinding for next season. I’m taking advantage of the time alone to work on my mental, as well.”

How would you describe your game?

“I would describe it as don’t stop till you hear a whistle.”

What player(s) do you look up to/model your game after?

Lane Johnson—I like the way he [plays] the game with technique and physicality.”

(hopefully you can stay on the field more than LJ!)

“True that!”

What are the biggest things you’re looking for in a school?

“I’d have to say the people I’d be surrounded by at that school—great people can get you through bad times, and bad people can make a great situation horrible.”
