Daiquan White is a 5’10 155 pound cornerback from Fairburn, GA.

The Class of 2023 prospect attends Creekside High School.

The rising sophomore already has offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.

In early May, White was offered by Florida State:

Who’d you talk to when getting the offer?

“I spoke to Coach Marcus Woodson with my defensive coach (Rance McCrary).”

What was that conversation like?

“It was great—Coach Woodson spoke to me about a lot of things.”

Such as?

“Mainly things I can add to my game to help me get better and prepare me for the next level.”

Do you feel like you’ve started to develop a relationship with Coach Woodson?

“Yes—I’ve talked to him many times with (McCrary).”

Do you plan to visit FSU when the Dead Period’s over?

“Of course—I’ve always wanted to visit.”

When you think of Florida State, what comes to mind?

Ramsey and Derwin—how they came up at FSU and made a big impact there, and the players they became in the NFL.”

Are they guys you look up to/model your game after?

“Yes—Ramsey’s one of my favorite corners in the league.”

What other player(s) do you look up to/model your game after?

Stephon Gilmore and Deion Sanders.”

How would you describe your game?

“I’m very patient and physical.”

What are the biggest things you’re looking for in a school?

“Family atmosphere and academics—the classroom is very important to me.”
