Florida State Seminoles football picked up another commitment on Wednesday, this time adding a Florida athlete to its Class of 2023 class.

Cedric Baxter Jr., who plays at Edgewater High in Orlando, announced his decision on Twitter:

A 6-foot, 195 lb. athlete from Orlando, FL, Baxter Jr. (offered by Florida State in April) also holds offers from Auburn, South Carolina, UCF and West Virginia, amongst others.

Tomahawk Nation spoke with Baxter Jr. last month:

“[Getting that offer] meant a lot because growing up, all I knew was FSU, and when I got the offer, I was extremely grateful because that’s my dream school.”

“Coach Marve said ‘this [is] the offer you wanted, and you got it.’

Coach YAC (David Johnson) told me to ‘keep grinding and keep working because I have the ability to be one of the best backs.’”
