TN spoke with Ali on the phone after the offer and learned more about his recruitment:
He said that while Coach Fuller extended the offer, he was able to speak to the entire defensive staff.
Ali mentioned that the offer meant a lot, as FSU has put numerous great DBs in the NFL.
We asked about some players that come to mind when you hear the name “Florida State”, and he mentioned Derwin James, Jalen Ramsey, Deion Sanders, and Jameis Winston.
As for his style of play: “I’ll play anywhere you need me at anytime and do whatever you ask me to help the team win.”
We mentioned his teammate Shakir earlier—Ali says he goes “way back” with Ejani, and they’re turning “dreams to reality.”
Ali wants to visit Florida State, and he mentioned somewhere he can go and play immediately, a good coaching staff, top-notch education, and relationships as the most important factors when making his college choice.
