Football:
It’s our first game week of the 2020 season and boy do we have news for you:
Yesterday FSU dropped its 2020 inaugural depth chart for the ’Noles’ season opener against Georgia Tech.
We had some instant reactions and noteworthy observations to Florida State’s first depth chart of the season.
Episode 3 of our Seminole Wrap podcast is out. It’s game week, so the podcast welcomed a guest from SBNation’s Georgia Tech blog who talks about the Ramblin’ Wreck’s potential starting quarterback and other recent FSU news.
Head coach Mike Norvell also spoke to the media for his first game-week presser in the Garnet and Gold. He spoke about preparation and singled out some players with praise.
Norvell wasn’t the only one to speak to the media, either. FSU offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller, and special teams coach John Papuchis all also spoke to the media.
With all of that information we got some injury news on both safety Hamsah Nasirildeen and quarterback Chubba Purdy.
If that wasn’t enough, we’re also bringing you updates from Norvell’s first call-in show for Florida State.
We’ve got all your updates in one place right here.

Idk, seems like it has lost its luster to me:
Manny says the turnover chain will have to be wiped down after every use, just like everything else.

Recruiting:
We’re keeping track of FSU’s recruiting targets throughout the season. Which recruits had a good performance and might earn another coveted star?
FSU is fighting hard for 2022 recruits using everything in their toolbox, including some incredible graphics.
Tomahawk Nation’s official Recruiting thread remains your main hub for all things football recruiting.
Early four-star and current class of 2023 No. 1 overall player Lebbeus Overton is a strongside defensive end from Georgia. His offer sheet is extremely impressive and it now includes Florida State.
FSU commits making noise:
Which Class of 2023 prospects in the Southeast are generating buzz? @ChadSimmons_ and @Cassidy_Rob have the list and it includes Florida State commit Cedric Baxter: https://t.co/mpfHUtSOL7 pic.twitter.com/jWngbjH46u

After visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars Devonta Freeman probably smartly left without a contract:
Former Patriots’ RB Lamar Miller is visiting today with the Buffalo Bills, per source.

RB Devonta Freeman, who visited Jacksonville this weekend, was unable to reach agreement with the Jaguars, so he remains a free agent.
