Florida State baseball will hold their annual Garnet and Gold intra-squad series on November 4th and 5th, next Wednesday and Thursday, at 3:00 PM. Despite Mike Martin Jr.’s wishes to have the games open to the fans, the gates will be open to just scouts and media this year. Fans will have to wait till at least the spring to see the Seminoles in person at Dick Howser Stadium.
Despite not being there in person, FSU fans will still be able to catch the action, as the games will both be streamed on ACC Network extra. Fans will get to see the power arms, the new faces, and the veteran bats through their TVs and computers as they round up their fall ball season. Without being able to play exhibitions against other teams, the scrimmages and intra-squads have been a key to the Seminoles’ entire fall season.
FSU is looking for a big season in Mike Martin Jr.’s second season at the helm, after a strong finish to a shortened 2020 season. The ‘Noles return their whole starting lineup in the field and despite losing their top three arms, have a pitching staff deep with top line arms.
