Florida State football’s Asante Samuel Jr. and Marvin Wilson have received All-ACC honors. Samuel Jr. was named to the All-ACC first team, while Wilson received second-team honors.
Samuel Jr. received the most votes of any cornerback. ASJ played in FSU’s first eight games, before declaring for the NFL Draft.
He posted 31 tackles and one tackle for loss. He also created havoc early and often during the season. The cornerback grabbed three interceptions and two fumble recoveries, while also forcing a fumble. He started the season off hot, as he had a takeaway in each of FSU’s first four games.

Despite a shortened season due to injury, Wilson was named a second-team defensive tackle.
In six games, he compiled 17 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack. The Texas native also made an impact on special teams, leading the country with three blocked kicks, two coming against Georgia Tech.
