FSU baseball gets most of their normal in-state foes for non-conference play this season. The Seminoles will open the season with UNF, while also playing UF, UCF, USF, Stetson, and JU.
Florida State will also play Troy on a weekend late in the season and a midweek game against Mercer. 12/13 non-conference games will be at home.

Florida State baseball and the ACC announced the conference schedule for the 2021 season this afternoon. After a shortened 2020 season, the Seminoles will play an adjusted schedule. The ACC schedule will consist of 12 weekend series (36 games).

The ‘Noles will open up ACC play on the second weekend of the season, facing off with Pittsburgh and former FSU pitching coach Mike Bell from February 26th-28th. The ACC opener will be held in a limited-capacity Dick Howser Stadium, where there is expected to be a capacity of 1,200 fans in the stands. FSU will also host Virginia, North Carolina, Clemson, Boston College, and Wake Forest.
FSU’s first ACC road series will be at Virginia Tech on March 12th. The Seminoles will also travel to Miami, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and Louisville. ACC play will end on May 22nd as Florida State travels to NC State, before the ACC tournament begins on the 25th.
The Seminoles started individual workouts this past Friday. Official team practices will begin on January 29th. FSU will enter the season with a 43-man roster. Florida State’s season begins in 37 days on February 19th against an unknown non-conference opponent. FSU’s non-conference schedule, of 14 games, is expected to be announced soon.
