The Florida State Seminoles baseball program will have to wait one extra day to open up the 2021 regular season. North Florida announced Monday night that Friday’s season opener has been pushed back to Saturday due to weather. The season opener will start at 2:00 PM on the 20th.
It's looking like rain Friday, so we've bumped our games back to Saturday and Sunday at No. 24/21 FSU.— UNF Baseball (@OspreyBSB) February 15, 2021

A double-header was originally scheduled for Saturday, but has been pushed back to Sunday starting at 11:00 AM. The third game of the series will begin 30-45 minutes after the conclusion of the first. Both games are scheduled to be a full nine inning contest.
Florida State was 12-5 last year, while the Ospreys were just 4-12. The Seminoles are 9-2 all time against North Florida. FSU fell to Niagara on opening day last year, and will look for a quicker start to 2021. The Seminoles enter 2021 with a deep pitching staff and an experienced lineup. Much of their success will be determined by their defense.
