Where Florida State baseball ranks in the preseason polls

Florida State baseball will open their season in 15 days. The Seminoles will enter the season as a consensus top 25 team. Over the last few weeks, the preseason polls have been released from multiple websites. The Seminoles’ highest ranking came from baseball America, which ranked the ‘Noles ninth in the country. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association also has the Seminoles in the top 20, at #16.

Both Perfect Game and the USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll has FSU ranked 21st in the country. D1Baseball is the lowest on Florida State, ranking them #24 and as the seventh best team in the ACC.

The Seminoles return all the key pieces of their starting lineup and a ton of experience in the back end of their bullpen. FSU has to replace their top weekend starters, but have intriguing young options up and down the staff to eat up the innings. Florida State will open the season at home against North Florida on February 19th at 6:00 PM.
