Florida State baseball will travel to Blacksburg tomorrow for their first road series against Virginia Tech. Mike Martin Jr. met with the media today before they hit the road Thursday. Junior said that they had an intense scrimmage yesterday after the USF postponement. He also mentioned that the game was postponed because of three inconclusive tests, but they all came back negative later in the day.
The head coach also gave some injury updates. Logan Lacey will be available this weekend. Matheu Nelson is a game-time decision. IF Ryan Romano, who broke his nose early in spring practice, will be available for the first time this year. Meat said he would be in the mix for some at-bats.
Meat said that he thinks Robby Martin is about to break out and look more like his normal self. FSU will also stick with the same rotation this weekend after a dominant showing last week.
