Florida State baseball (31-22) will look to advance to the regional finals tonight against one-seed Ole Miss. The Seminoles won their opening game over Southern Miss by a score of 5-2. The ‘Noles were carried by a Parker Messick gem and a trio of homers. Logan Lacey, Matheu Nelson, and Elijah Cabell all homered.
Ole Miss (42-19) advanced to the winners bracket with a 6-3 win over Southeast Missouri last night. Tim Elko’s grand slam in the third inning was the game-winning hit.
