No. 16 Florida State basketball (9-2, 5-1 ACC) is back in the Tucker Center tonight against the Miami Hurricanes (6-8, 2-7 ACC). The ‘Noles come into tonight’s game as one of the hottest teams in the nation and on a four-game winning streak. Three of those wins have been double-digit blowouts. Meanwhile, the Hurricanes have lost three of their last four games, all by double-digits.
FSU has had some injury issues lately, with Anthony Polite missing the last two games and MJ Walker missing most of the second half against Clemson. Polite will still be out tonight, but the Seminoles will have their senior leader back in the lineup, as he’s expected to be good to go at tip off.
Florida State has won their last five matchups against the Hurricanes. The Seminoles are 32-8 at home against the Canes. For more on the matchup, you can find Michael Rogner’s preview here.
The Seminoles and Hurricanes will tip off at 6:00 PM on ACC Network from the Tuck. We will have live coverage in the game thread below, as well as on our twitter (@tomahawknation).
