FSU vs. Syracuse basketball game postponed

The Seminoles have their second straight ACC game postponed

Florida State Seminoles basketball has had a second straight Atlantic Coast Conference game postponed due to coronavirus issues within the program.

The Seminoles will no longer be taking on Syracuse on Wednesday, following the postponement of FSU’s matchup vs. the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday.

FSU last played in a loss vs. Clemson on Dec. 29.

Its next schedule game is vs. Pitt on Jan. 9.

The official statement from the ACC:

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Florida State at Syracuse men’s basketball game scheduled for Wednesday, January 6, has been postponed. Instead, Pitt will travel to Syracuse to face the Orange on the same date. The contest will tip at 4:30 p.m. and be broadcast on ACC Network.

The postponement follows a positive test, subsequent quarantining, and contact tracing within the Florida State men’s basketball program. The team is adhering to the outlined protocols within the ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available on theACC.com (full report).
