Florida State Seminoles basketball senior M.J. Walker has joined an exclusive club at FSU — the 1000-point club.
Walker has become the 49th player to join the club, according to the FSU basketball media guide, with the latest entries being Trent Forrest last season, who finished his career with 1143 points (No. 33 all-time).
He reached the 1k mark exactly on a fast-break jumper vs. North Carolina on Saturday in the first-half. Walker’s currently the Seminoles’ leading scorer so far this season, totaling 209 points while averaging 13.1 points per game.
Other recent names include No. 8 Michael Snaer (1562), No. 16 Okaro White (1402), No. 20 Terrance Mann (1322 points), No. 26 Xaiver-Rathan Mayes (1235) and No. 32 Dwyane Bacon (1149).
