Another Monday, another edition of the Associated Press Top 25. Ranked No. 20 last week, Florida State actually gained ground with the voters and now finds themselves at No. 17 in the country.

After a positive COVID-19 test within the Seminoles’ program, FSU (10-3, 6-2 ACC) had three games postponed and did not see action this past week.

Two weeks ago, Florida State faced rival Miami at home and won decisively 81-59. But FSU dropped their weekend matchup with Georgia Tech 76-65 on the road in Atlanta.

Florida State was ranked No. 21 to start the year and remained in the polls the first six week of the season, reaching as high as No. 15 at one point. The Noles fell to No. 25 after suffering their second loss of the season at Clemson, and were bounced from the rankings the next week.

After four straight wins (and three by double-digits), they surged from unranked to No. 16 on Jan. 25.

This week, FSU looks to get back on the court Saturday afternoon versus Wake Forest (5-8, 2-8 ACC). That game will tip off at noon at home inside the Civic Center.
