Four-seed Florida State basketball (17-6, 11-4 ACC) takes on five-seed Colorado (23-8, 14-6 PAC12) in the round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament tonight. The ‘Noles were able to escape a pesky UNC Greensboro in the first round to advance to tonight’s matchup. The Buffaloes crushed Georgetown in the first round to advance and face the Seminoles.
This will be the first ever matchup between Colorado and Florida State. Saturday’s defensive performance was the best in school history in March Madness, as the Seminoles held the Spartans to a 31.7 FG%. Meanwhile, Buffalo hit the fourth most three-pointers in an NCAA game, with 16 makes from beyond the arc.
