Football:

Tamorrion Terry had a successful surgery yesterday but that means he’s likely out until after the bye week.

On the road against the fifth-ranked team in the country; true freshman offensive tackle Robert Scott proved that he could play at this level.

Warren Thompson, Jordan Young, and Ontaria Wilson will have to step up in his absence.

There’s been a lot of fun match-ups between UNC and FSU since Florida State joined the ACC.

What do the analytics say about UNC and FSU?

The best news of yesterday was the fact that Bobby Bowden was released from the hospital and looks to be on the road to recovery from his battle with the coronavirus.

Whatever the over/under is for UNC vs. FSU hit the over:

No. 5 North Carolina (-13) at Florida State: While Florida State’s defense was supposed to be a strength in 2020, the results have been absent. North Carolina’s offense should have no trouble putting up 30 or 40 points, and its youth on defense has made it vulnerable to explosive plays. While Jordan Travis is still getting settled as the new starter for the Seminoles, the skill position talent against the inexperience and depth concerns for the Tar Heels defensively have me thinking another high-scoring affair is on the agenda. Pick: Over 64

Recruiting:

2022 athlete Omari Kelly has been offered by Florida State.

Top 2022 QB target Nicco Marchiol put on a show last Friday:

FSU took it to 11th-ranked Miami:

Scottie Barnes hasn’t touched the collegiate hardwood yet and he’s already garnering plenty of respect:

Alumni:

This week’s sod talk features an All-American, an NCAA champion, a Super Bowl champion and a pro-bowler all rolled into one. It’s former Seminole Corey Simon.

Congratulations to Kevin Cash; I don’t think it’s presumptuous to think this won’t be the only time he wins this award:
