Basketball:
Coach Ham was ready to watch tonight’s NBA draft like a proud poppa, as Devin Vassell and Patrick Williams waited to have their names called:

Patrick Williams heard his name called first, tying Dave Cowens for highest drafted Seminole, as the Chicago Bulls selected the Charlotte native with the fourth overall pick.
Not too bad, huh?
Very nice recruiting pitch for @FSUCoachHam: https://t.co/F0dWwbXct3

On the eve of the draft, Devin Vassell was ready for a new chapter in his journey:

Williams and Vassell made history, joining two other legendary Seminoles:

Football:
We heard from Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles defense for the last time ahead of the Clemson game. With that came unfortunate injury news for both quarterback Chubba Purdy and defensive back Meiko Dotson.
While the recent results aren’t exactly full of fond memories for FSU fans, our Austin Cox took a look at the all-time matchup history between Florida State and Clemson, which will remind you of better times.
Recruiting:
FSU offered a 2022 offensive tackle Qae’shon Sapp, who already has quite an impressive offer list

What a week for Jaelin Howell, an ACC Championship and a USWNT call-up:
NEWS: Jaelin Howell has been added to the #USWNT roster for the upcoming camp in the Netherlands, replacing Lindsey Horan who tested positive for COVID-19 during U.S. Soccer’s pre-trip testing procedures.

Get well soon, @LindseyHoran ❤️
Alumni:
It’s looking more likely that Jameis Winston will get his shot under center with Drew Brees set to miss some time. Taysom Hill will likely see plenty of action as well, but it’s worth noting that Winston now leads the league in quarterback saves (2):
After additional tests on Tuesday, there is no change in the status of #Saints QB Drew Brees, sources say. That means with his cracked ribs on both sides and punctured lung, he’s likely out at least two weeks and then see how he feels. Expect a lot of Jameis Winston for NO.
