Dan Wolken makes a very compelling argument that the ACC didn’t have FSU’s back on Saturday and I think he’s absolutely correct.
COLUMN: The ACC should have had Florida State's back for not wanting to play a Clemson team that traveled with a COVID-19 positive player. Instead, its weak statement added to the blame game. https://t.co/wRp6rL2dBg via @usatoday— Dan Wolken (@DanWolken) November 21, 2020
The reactions to the postponement were both funny and predictable from the Clemson side.
They can be angry but they really have no one but themselves to blame.
And right on cue like in most things Dabo Swinney refuses to have any accountability when he’s wrong:
Alabama game w/ LSU gets cancelled:— Peter Burns (@PeterBurnsESPN) November 23, 2020
Saban: "We were certainly looking forward to playing a game, but I think that we kind of expect disruptions this season"
Clemson game w/ FSU gets cancelled:
Dabo: "COVID was just an excuse to cancel game. … To me, FSU forfeited the game"
It’s another night game on the ACC Network for Florida State.
Why should a recruit choose FSU when FSU is obviously down as a program? Take it from a guy that did the same thing and left FSU as an ACC champion and eventual first-round draft pick:
2022 four-star DB has FSU in his final super six.
2022 four-star athlete Tychaun Chapman is electric in the open field and FSU is in his final five.
The other programs will come calling but for now I’m of the opinion that FSU has the best prospect in 2022 on its commitment list:
