Nolan McConnell is a 6’7 285 pound offensive tackle prospect from Stafford, VA.

The Class of 2023 prospect attends Colonial Forge High School and has a 91 rating (4-star) from 247 Sports. They consider him the 42nd best player in his class (4th best OT and 2nd best player in Virginia).

McConnell has offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Boston College Eagles, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Penn State Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Panthers, Syracuse Orange, and Virginia Cavaliers, among others.

Monday night, he was offered by defensive line coach Odell Haggins (area recruiter), offensive line coach Alex Atkins, and the Florida State Seminoles football program:

Tomahawk Nation recruiting analyst CoachAB had a chance to look at McConnell’s film, and he liked what he saw:

McConnell possesses an A+ frame for a true freshman in HS. What’s equally impressive is his wing span, which is a key trait for offensive linemen. A true offensive tackle long-term, McConnell is still raw (most, if not all freshman are), but flashes flexibility and athleticism that suggests high upside. This is a good find by Mike Norvell and Alex Atkins, as McConnell will likely be a household name eventually.
