Recruiting
Our CoachAB took the time to break down Lamont Green Jr.’s film — Green, a legacy prospect, is high on FSU’s board for the 2023 class.
Florida State Seminoles football sent out an offer to 2021 receiver Calvin Johnson II, currently a Navy quarterback commit but more an all-around athlete than a pure passer that also has offers from the Duke Blue Devils, Ole Miss Rebels, Syracuse Orange, Vanderbilt Commodores, and Virginia Cavaliers, among others.

Football
Dr, Dabo continued his three-day long diatribe on the postponement of FSU vs. Clemson — a multi-day tantrum that the ACC has yet to try and corral:
Dabo Swinney on FSU again: "I’m not really worried much about what they say down there in Tallahassee. I’ve been in this league 18 years, I’ve been the head coach for 12. They’ve had three head coaches in four years."
— Grace Raynor (@gmraynor) November 24, 2020
The repetition of this “Pitt brought a sick player to FSU!” lie based on the same 4 paragraph news story that DOES NOT SAY they brought a sick player to FSU and has been denied by both Pitt and FSU into Day 3 is just a perfect synopsis of 2020. We’re screwed. Eat Arby’s.

We spoke with Stewart Mandel of The Athletic on the latest Seminole Wrap about the last few days in FSU football, as well as the overall impression of the program and his top Thanksgiving sides.
Meanwhile, FSU head coach Mike Norvell says he’s done talking about it, and that his and the team’s sights are on Virginia. We spoke with him, receiver Keyshawn Helton, tight end Camren McDonald and quarterback Tate Rodemaker as part of yesterday’s media availability.
Some quick NFL ‘Noles updates:

Basketball
The 2020-21 season is almost here — and our beloved Michael Rogner, the best in the FSU hoops biz, broke down the men’s roster.
FSU women’s or men’s basketball, however, won’t be playing this week, as each had their games cancelled and postponed, respectively. The women will open vs. Florida at home on Nov. 29, while the men will take on UNF at home on Dec. 2.
The ACC men’s championship will now take place in Greensboro, North Carolina, rather than Washington D.C. The women’s tournament was already scheduled for North Carolina.
Junior guard Amaya Brown will redshirt the 2020-21 season in an effort to further rehab her knee, one that ended her freshman campaign and limited her last year.=
Special guest @FSUCoachHam of @FSUHoops joins @Khaleads_77 and @Blacketologist on the latest @UpNext_Pod to talk his Hall of Fame career thus far, his recruiting and coaching philosophy + expectations for this season!
