George Wilson is a 6’5 214 pound weakside defensive end from Virginia Beach, VA.

The Class of 2021 prospect attends Green Run High School and has an 89 rating (high 3-star) from the 247 Sports Composite List. The sites consider him the 356th best player in America (23rd best WDE and 9th best player in Virginia).

Wilson was committed to Will Muschamp’s South Carolina Gamecocks since July, but decommitted on Wednesday:

Wilson also has offers from the Arizona State Sun Devils, Auburn Tigers, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Indiana Hoosiers, Maryland Terrapins, Michigan State Spartans, North Carolina Tar Heels, Ole Miss Rebels, Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Panthers, Syracuse Orange, Tennessee Volunteers, Virginia Cavaliers, Virginia Tech Hokies, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons, among others.

On Thanksgiving Day, he was offered by the Florida State:

Wilson is a big want at a position of need, so I expect the FSU staff to make a serious push for the Virginia native. Before committing to the Gamecocks, Wilson had ASU, PSU, and UNC in his final four, as well.
