Austin Firestone is a 6’5 260 pound offensive tackle prospect from Niceville, FL. He has a 4.0 GPA, scored a 31 on the ACT, and runs a 4.86 40-yard dash.

The Class of 2022 prospect attends Niceville High School and has an 86 rating (3-star) from the 247 Sports Composite List. The sites consider him the 494th best player in America (51st best OT and 57th best player in Florida).

Firestone has offers from the Arizona State Sun Devils, Cincinnati Bearcats, Duke Blue Devils, Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, Mississippi State Bulldogs, N.C. State Wolfpack, South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers, Virginia Cavaliers, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and West Virginia Mountaineers, among others.

Saturday morning, he was offered by the Florida State Seminoles football program:

Offensive line coach Alex Atkins and the Florida State staff have had their eyes on Firestone for quite some time, but the offer comes on the heels of an impressive state playoff performance Friday night:

FSU already has a Niceville alum on its roster (running back Deonte Sheffield) and has a commitment from Class of 2021 offensive lineman Kimo Makaneole. The Seminoles are also heavily recruiting 2022 4-star defensive back prospect Azareyeh Thomas.
