Edric Weldon is a 6’5 215 pound safety from Hallandale, FL.
The Class of 2022 prospect attends Hallandale High School, where he teams up in the defensive backfield with fellow Florida State safety target Alfonzo Allen.
Weldon has offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Kentucky Wildcats, Maryland Terrapins, Miami (FL) Hurricanes, Penn State Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Panthers, Syracuse Orange, Tennessee Volunteers, Virginia Tech Hokies, and West Virginia Mountaineers, among others, so it’s seemingly just a matter of time before the recruiting sites wake up and make him a blue-chip prospect.
Early Wednesday afternoon, he was offered by wide receivers coach Ron Dugans and the Florida State Seminoles football program:

It’ll be interesting to see if Florida State can potentially sell Weldon and Allen on teaming up in college, as well.
