Kayin Lee is a 6’0 160 pound cornerback from Ellenwood, GA.

The Class of 2023 prospect attends Cedar Grove High School, where he teams up with wide receiver Janiran Bonner, running back Rashod Dubinion, and defensive tackle Christen Miller.

Lee already holds offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, and Tennessee Volunteers.

In early May, he was offered by the Florida State Seminoles:

We caught up with Lee recently to learn more about his recruitment:

How did you receive the FSU offer and what did it mean to you?

“I received it one morning during the spring—my coach called me in the morning before workouts and let [me] hear the news. It meant a lot to me—I really like FSU because of Jalen Ramsey—that is my favorite corner.”

What did it mean that FSU was one of the first big schools to believe in you?

“It meant a lot because it’s giving me more confidence that I can continue to be great and do great things.”

Have you spoken with any members of the FSU staff, and if so, which one(s)?

“Yessir, I’ve spoken with Coach Woodson.”

What have those conversations been like?

“Just telling me how I could really come in and be a impact on the program.”

What do you know about Florida State—when you think of FSU what are some of the first things that come to mind?

“First thing is they play hard-nosed football. I like their style of play. They have a lot of very good players come through there also.”

Being a Georgia kid, what did the UGA offer mean?

“It meant a lot because my dad’s favorite school is Georgia. It’s one of my dream schools following along with FSU also.”

What schools do you hope/plan to visit when NCAA allows on-campus visits again?

“I plan on going to FSU, UGA, UF, Auburn, and Arkansas.”

What do you like to do for fun outside of football?

“I like to spend time with my family and just play the video game.”

What’s a fun fact about you people might not know?

“I have 2 siblings: a little brother, and a little sister that [are] going to be special.”
