The Class of 2022 prospect attends West Orange High School and has an 85 rating (3-star) from the 247 Sports Composite List. The sites consider him the 603rd best player in his class (85th best WR and 69th best player in Florida).
Gibson has offers from the Cincinnati Bearcats, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Iowa State Cyclones, Louisville Cardinals, Maryland Terrapins, Miami (FL) Hurricanes, Missouri Tigers, Pittsburgh Panthers, UCF Knights, Utah Utes, Virginia Tech Hokies, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons, among others.

Tomahawk Nation spoke to Gibson shortly after the offer, and he said “he’s really excited about the offer and plans to get up to Florida State as soon as possible!”
Gibson’s West Orange teammate, Class of 23 defensive back Jordan Castell was offered by FSU in March.
