Football:

There’s no sugarcoating this; the offensive and defensive observations from the game are very bad.

Mike Norvell is still in isolation but he spoke to the media about FSU’s blowout to Miami.

Camren McDonald had strong words of praise for his freshman teammates.

For now though it’s time for FSU to move on to Jacksonville State.

At this rate FSU is going to need that rule passed to get to a bowl game but both Miami and UF playing in the New Year’s Six would be a nightmare as a fan.

There are some good games coming up this weekend.

Recruiting:

Four-star QB commitment Luke Altmyer had one thing to say:

Can’t wait until this is on campus:

Florida State did get some good news this weekend with four-star offensive tackle Rod Orr committing to Florida State. What will he bring to FSU?

Other Sports:

There’s a lot to like about Devin Vassell’s game; he won’t be waiting too long to find out where he’s going:

Gabby Carle’s best days are ahead of her which is saying a lot because she’s already elite.

Alumni:

Chris Thompson is advising patience:

Dalvin Cook had himself a monster day on Sunday; 22 carries 181 yards and a touchdown:

Xavier Rhodes has got plenty left in the tank; two interceptions including a pick-six:

The ‘Noles weren’t very good on Saturday but they were exceptional on Sunday.
