Florida State football, recruiting news: FSU goes crazy on the recruiting trail

Three portal commitments and a blue-chip 2022 WR declare for FSU

Don Juan Moore

Recruiting:

FSU went crazy on the recruiting trail this weekend. Four commitments declared for Florida State with three of them being immediate impact players.

The fireworks started with Keir Thomas; former defensive lineman from South Carolina.

Then they continued with a somewhat surprising commitment from former Auburn RB DJ Williams; he is an immediate talent upgrade in the running back room.

The final transfer to commit was former South Carolina DB Jammie Robinson; he was regarded as one of the best players available with three years left of eligibility.

The final commitment came from the high school ranks as 2022 four-star wide receiver Quincy Mcadoo committed to FSU. He is the top player in the state of Arkansas.

FSU has approximately three or four spots left in its 2021 recruiting class.

2023 Louisiana DB Derek Williams, Jr. has been offered by Florida State.

With 40 days left until Opening Day today’s profile is on Jack Anderson.

I’m sure MJ Walker would like to get back on the court asap but in the meantime he’s likely enjoying a game of Mancala:

Congratulations to Doug Kirkland and Sammie Puisis:

Have to say; this is one of the coolest commitment edits that I’ve ever seen. Raymond Woodie III is headed to Cal:

Lebron James had high praise for Patrick Williams:
