Lucas is the younger brother of Florida State’s rising sophomore hybrid running back and wide receiver Ja’Khi Douglas, who committed to FSU back in July of 2019 and stuck with Mike Norvell and Co. when the new staff took over.

Douglas was used this past season primarily at running back, but he contributed mostly as a receiver out of the backfield, snagging seven passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns. He also contributed on special teams, including a punt block in FSU’s upset win over North Carolina.
