Marvin Jones Jr. includes Florida State in top 10

Marvin Jones, Jr. is a 6’5 230 pound weak-side defensive end prospect from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The Class of 2022 prospect attends American Heritage High School and has a 97 rating (high 4-star) from the 247 Sports Composite List. The sites consider him the 70th best player in his class (5th best WDE and 8th best player in Florida).

Saturday afternoon, the junior DE released his top 10 list, which included the Florida State Seminoles, along with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Jackson State Tigers, Miami (FL) Hurricanes, Oklahoma Sooners, Oregon Ducks, Texas Longhorns, and West Virginia Mountaineers.

Jones, who also holds offers from the Arizona State Sun Devils, Baylor Bears, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Louisville Cardinals, Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions, Tennessee Volunteers, and USC Trojans, is the son of former Seminole standout Marvin “Shade Tree” Jones and is one of the most prized recruits in 2022.
