Caleb Downs is a 6’0 180 pound defensive back from Buford, GA.

Downs has offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Miami-Florida Hurricanes, Michigan State Spartans, N.C. State Wolfpack, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Tennessee Volunteers, among others.
Early Tuesday afternoon, he was offered by area recruiter Alex Atkins and defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson of the Florida State Seminoles football program:
After a great conversations with @CoachAAtkins and coach @Coach_MWoodson I am extremely blessed to say that I have received an offer from Florida state university @FSUFootball #GoNoles #gonoles pic.twitter.com/LwA66yF82v

It is never easy to pry top prospects from Georgia, especially with Kirby Smart’s Dawgs having success, but Atkins and Woodson have done a nice job in the state, and the latter convinced on of the top prospects in the Class of 2022 (Travis Hunter) to choose FSU.
