Here is the 7th edition of Transfer Portal Talk! FSU signed 16 players during the ESP, which leaves them with room for about 9 scholarships between transfers and February signees. FSU currently has 24 players in the class with room for 26 and maybe even 27. With another wave of portal entries expected in the spring, FSU will continue to evaluate.
To date, FSU has landed 8 transfer portal players; QB McKenzie Milton, RB DJ Williams, WR Andrew Parchment , DE Kier Thomas, DE Jermaine Johnson, DB Jammie Robinson, DB Jarques McClellion, and DB Brandon Moore.
Now on to numbers... Coach Norvell is acting like this is Pokémon and that he has to have them all....
...but of the 2 remaining scholarships (maybe 3 more on that below), per NT&T and Josh Pick, there are 2 HS players in the cards in WR Destyn Hill and DT Tywone Malone. Assuming FSU lands one of them (WR Hill being most likely per our crootin’ team), that leaves room in this class for 1 or 2 more transfers. The staff might try to sign 27, or get another scholarship from a medically disqualified player, but that is still TBD.

- QB McKenzie Milton - from UCF. Once a superstar player in the college ranks before a terrible knee injury. WE HAVE OUR QB FOR 2021.
RB
- RB DJ Williams - from Auburn. DJ Williams committed to FSU.
WR
- WR Andrew Parchment - from Kansas. JP said this is a potential name to know. Parchment is a 6-3 WR who was a two-year starter at KU. In 2019, he had 65 Rec for 831 yards, and 7 TDs. Committed to FSU on 12/31/2020.
TE
TE isn’t an area of need.
OL
FSU keeps evaluating OL, but they have not rushed this decision and they are looking for a CLEAR upgrade at OL, and not “just a guy” (JAG). It is worth monitoring because this is what everyone in the fanbase will point to.
DL
- DL Keir Thomas - from South Carolina. Committed to FSU.
- DE Jermaine Johnson - from UGA. COMMITTED TO FSU on 12/26.
LB
Seems as if the staff has “kicked the tires” on LBs and decided to go in another direction.
DB
- DB Brandon Moore - from UCF. Committed to FSU on 1/11.
- DB Jammie Robinson - from South Carolina. Looks to be an SEC lean now, but we will see what happens. Committed to FSU.
- DB Jarques McClellion - from Arkansas. Three year starter for Arkansas. Committed to FSU on 12/20.
