Football:

The ACC has released the fall schedule and it features the return of the eight conference games, two division format. The first half of the schedule sets up well for FSU.

ESPN ranked all 130 college football teams into tiers and FSU’s tier was interesting to say the least.

Recruiting:

The biggest news of the day came yesterday when legacy 2022 DE recruit Aaron Hester chose FSU over Miami, Michigan, and Penn State. The first thing you notice about Hester is that he’s violent with heavy hands; you love to see it.

Travis Hunter, Jr. has been named the National Junior of the Year by Maxpreps:

FSU’s 2022 class is off to a strong start particularly at defensive end; when it’s all said and done assuming FSU holds onto them I expect both of FSU’s defensive end commitments to end up inside the top 200 in the recruiting rankings. In my opinion they are both very, very good.

Other Sports:

FSU Softball is the preseason favorite in the ACC; which makes sense when you consider that they placed four Seminoles on the preseason all-acc team:

Women’s Basketball couldn’t get it done at Wake Forest.

ESPN has FSU as a fifth-seed in Gonzaga’s bracket.
