Marquise Gilbert offered by Florida State

Can Noles bring him home?

Marquise Gilbert is a 6’2 180 pound safety from Palm Coast, FL (he enrolled at Bethune Cookman out of high school).

The Class of 2022 prospect attends Hutchinson Community College (Kansas), and although he isn’t yet ranked by the 247 Sports Composite List, Gilbert holds offers from the Auburn Tigers, Colorado Buffaloes, Maryland Terrapins, Mississippi State Bulldogs, NC State Wolfpack, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Oregon State Beavers, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and Utah Utes, among others.

Monday afternoon, he was offered by defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson and the Florida State Seminoles football program:

Gilbert has already checked out the Buffaloes in Boulder, and he also currently has visits set up for Auburn and Knoxville. It’ll be interesting to see if Woodson and the Seminoles’ staff can get the in-state product to visit Tallahassee.

As always, make sure to get more info by checking out Tomahawk Nation’s recruiting thread.
