Elijha Payne is a 6’7 285 pound offensive tackle from Las Vegas, NV.
The Class of 2023 prospect attends Desert Pines High School and although he doesn’t yet have a ranking from the 247 Sports Composite List, he’s given an 86 rating (3-star) from 247 Sports. They consider him the 33rd best OT and 4th best player in Nevada.
Payne has offers from the Arizona Wildcats, Arkansas Razorbacks, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and Miami (FL) Hurricanes. Those final three offers have taken place in the last week, so his recruitment is obviously picking up steam, and he has ideal length and size for an OT, so you can expect the offers to continue, while seeing his ranking rise, as well.
Late Tuesday evening, he was offered by Mike Norvell, Kenny Dillingham, Alex Atkins, and the Florida State Seminoles football program:
