Lavon Brown is a 6’1 180 pound wide receiver from Las Vegas, NV.
The Class of 2023 prospect attends Desert Pines High School and although he is not yet ranked by the 247 Sports Composite List, he has an 85 rating (3-star) from 247 Sports. They consider him the 80th best WR and 5th best player in Nevada.
Brown has offers from the Arizona Wildcats, Arkansas Razorbacks, and USC Trojans.
Wednesday afternoon, he was offered by offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham and the Florida State Seminoles football program:
After a great conversation with @KennyDillingham I am Extremely blessed to say I have received an offer from Florida State University @Coach_Norvell @r81dugans @DHill39 @bangulo @702HSFB @GregBiggins @adamgorney @DemetricDWarren @GerryHamilton93 @FSUFootball pic.twitter.com/xM7pCyqvUG— Lavon Brown (@TheLavonBrown) October 20, 2021
At Desert Pines, Brown teams up with offensive tackle Elijha Payne, who Florida State offered late Tuesday evening.
They also team up with blue-chip running back prospect Jovantae Barnes, who the FSU staff is trying desperately to land, but is thought to favor the Alabama Crimson Tide or Oklahoma Sooners.
