Noles News: FSU kicks off NC State week

Football loses, volleyball wins, Noles in the pro’s are shining.

The Florida State Seminoles had an up and down weekend. FSU football went on the road to face-off against the Clemson Tigers suffering a close but emotional loss 30-20, women's volleyball took down the Syracuse Orange in a marathon matchup, and the men’s track team has a cross country champion. Here are some updates and news from over the weekend:

Football

The Seminoles return home to face off against the NC State Wolfpack this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and if you’re wondering how to watch, stream, or listen go check out:

Vegas seems to have slowly started to like the Seminoles after the close loss on Saturday and have the Noles as three-point underdogs this weekend:

The Tribe lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Tigers in a full-on defensive showdown where both teams really couldn't get their offenses going for most of the game:

A couple of former Noles now in the NFL made headlines on Sunday:

  • P.J Williams had a pick-six on Tom Brady:
  • Jameis Winston after suffering an injury during the game on but still managed to celebrate with his teammates in a hilarious way following a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

  • Offensive lineman and Seminole Scholar Brady Scott shared his story of battling cancer and is using his platform to help out kids in need:

Recruiting

Basketball

Soccer

  • Women’s soccer has had record attendance this season and ended in a draw over Virginia:

Volleyball

  • Women’s volleyball continues to be on fire notching two victories over the weekend at home against the Syracuse Orange and the Boston College Eagles:

Women’s softball showed some Halloween spirit and Adriaan Wildschuut earned men’s 8k cross country champion:
