Jalen Hale offered by Florida State

A long time coming. (Artaviyas Donyee)

Jalen Hale is a 6’3 175 pound wide receiver from Longview, TX.

The Class of 2023 prospect attends Longview High School and has a 90 rating (4-star) from 247 Sports. They consider him the 60th best player in his class (7th best WR and 6th best player in Texas).

Hale already holds offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn Tigers, Baylor Bears, Georgia Bulldogs, Kansas Jayhawks, LSU Tigers, Miami (FL) Hurricanes, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma Sooners, Pittsburgh Panthers, South Carolina Gamecocks, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Tech Red Raiders, UCF Knights, and USC Trojans, among others.

Thursday afternoon, he was offered by area recruiter Chris Thomsen and the Florida State Seminoles football program:

In 2019, Hale was the first freshman on the varsity in 15 years, and in 2020, he was named the District 7-5A-I Offensive Newcomer of the Year after totaling 39 catches, 699 yards, and 10 TDs, so he’s already accomplished quite a bit, but the sky’s the limit for this kid.

Tomahawk Nation has been in touch with Hale since last August, and one thing he’s reiterated is how badly he wants that Florida State offer and now he has it.
