WR Quincey McAdoo decommits from Florida State

A Tribe ‘22 scholarship is up for grabs (Nick Wenger)

The Florida State Seminoles have been making huge waves on the recruiting front over the past few weeks but they got some bad news today. 2022 3 star wide receiver Quincey McAdoo has decided to open up his recruitment again after being committed to FSU for four months.

McAdoo holds a rating of 88 (3 star) in the 247 composite rankings and is 6’3”, 175 lbs with a skill set similar to recent FSU signee Malik McClain, though his upside is not as high. He holds 15 offers total but the hometown Arkansas Razorbacks must be considered the heavy front-runner to earn McAdoo’s next commitment. Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman and offensive coordinator Kendal Briles have made a point to try and keep the top Arkansas talent in state, and McAdoo is surely getting a hard sell on staying home and leading the Hogs back to glory.

Florida State is in good shape with multiple wide receiver targets for Tribe ‘22 so it will be interesting to see who fills McAdoo’s spot. As for McAdoo himself, we wish him well and hope he torches the Gators each time they meet.
